Grants
One of the primary purposes of ASMC is to ensure that individuals with autism obtain access to the community. Because it is our goal to serve the entire spectrum and community of individuals with autism we have set aside stipend money for children, adolescents, and adults in the community to ensure they have the same opportunities for recreational and social activities as their peers.
Stipend money can be used in any way that will help the individual access recreational, social or community activities.
ASMC currently offers three different grants/stipends:
Educational: To fulfill our mission to provide educationally based programs to meet the unique needs of children with ASD, the ASMC will make a limited amount of money available to schools and board approved non-profit programs to start or improve services delivered to students with Autism. IWU Social Group: For adolescents and young adults attending the IWU Social Group. Click here to access the IWU Social Group grant.
Recreational: To fulfill our mission to provide individuals with autism access to the community, ASMC will make a limited amount of money available to any specific activity that will allow the individual with autism further access to activities outside of the home and in the community.
